Almost all new mobile phones are coming with no option to shut down camera sound specially when we talk about Nokia phones so let you know Nokia is only manufacturer who actually running with the laws. No its not Nokia’s law, it is the law of government of those countries where you can not take pictures of unwilling peoples and places. Such as countries in middle east, Europe and etc. And you know Nokia can not make same device for different countries so it is better to disable this controversial option from all up coming mobiles. How sad na..?

Now you must be thinking that how could you take picture of nude girls on beach, or pictures in museum and other restricted places. But no worries the thing “Information Technology” start working from these points, i have Nokia 6120 classic and this mobile also does not have silent camera option and i have to take my own pics in office to send mms to my girlfriend as on request. :p I was desperately looking for something which can allow me to capture pictures without any noise. Thanks God Nokia 6120 classic is symbian phone and as you all know advantage of symbian is third party applications feel comfortable with it.

So during my search i got an application called “c Cam”, it pronounce like “see cam”, c Cam is a camera capture application that runs on S60 3rd edition phones that allows us to capture pictures with no shutter sound and no flash light! The captured images are saved to the default image directory on memory cards. It also features an option to set the focus range and a link to take us. It is working so awesomely with my phone and very useful, same what i needed! Thanks SYMBIAN!

But the thing is it does not allow you to record video, and for me it does not matter because my Nokia 6120 classic can start recording video with only low beep voice. And as i know that almost all mobiles dont make too much noise while recording videos as compare to take still picture.

So what you thinking? try it here is download link. (right click on link – and then click on save as target)
