After a very long time, i heard some guys with great melody. Yeah they were Azal the new band in Pakistan. Last time Pakistan pop industry introduced Atif Aslam the real rock star but between launch of Atif and till 2010, Pakistani musician except some were miserably fail to make the long term impact except. Anyways long time effort always provide good result. Azal the combination of two lead vocalist Ali Rajab and Ehtisham including Shabbi on keyboard, and Samir Ahmed on bass guitar. They really produced a good music in their first album.

Azal launched with their fast number Aisi Taisi in 2010 by targeting the youth of nation. Aisi Taisi was more enough for the band to rock the world. Fantastic beats of drums and intoxicated melody from guitar including fresh voices of Ali Rajab and Ehtisham was compelling me to fall in love with this new band.

After Aisi Taisi, they threw an another super hit and well video edited song called Sari dunia hil jaegi specially created for T20 Cricket World Cup. Pakistan lost semifinal but this song did a great business and gave international recognition to Azaal. I love Ehtisham when he sings that “jab hawah ma googly aigi to middle gili ur jaegi”.

With these two songs, I challenged my friends that Azaal has something new for Pakistan music industry, and within same month Azal launched the cover version of yeh watan hamara hay. They made fantastic jugalbandi in this song, both singers showed their true classical talent for this song. In this cover version I realized that Azal has some genuine skills to sing and bloody Indian singers can never misbehave with these guys like they did in past with Atif.
