Get back old Pakistan 1948′s Pakistan

There was a meeting in assembly. ADC asked to Mr. Jinnah, “Should we serve tea or coffee in meeting?” Jinnah asked, “do not they come from home after having tea or coffee?” ADC lost. Mr. Jinnah added, “If any minister wants tea or coffee then should go for home, this is nation’s money for nation.” After this order till Mr. Jinnah power only plain
water used to serve in assembly meetings.

There was purchasing of 38.50 Rs for Governor General House. Mr. Jinnah asked the ledger and purchasing details. Some stuff was related to Miss Fatima Jinnah and Mr. Jinnah. He ordered to deduct the amount from personal accounts for personal expenses and be careful for future.

Brother of English King Davic was coming to visit, English ambassador requested to Mr. Jinnah to receive him on airport for welcome. Jinnah replied with smile, “I am ready, but when my brother will visit to England then would English king will receive him on airport?” Once ADC presented the visiting card to Mr. Jinnah, he scraped that card and said, “Ask him to never show his face” he was Mr. Jinnah’s brother and he only published “Brother of Jinnah Governor General Pakistan” under his name on visiting card.

There was minus temperature in Zayarat. Col. Ilahi Baksh presented new sox to Mr. Jinnah. Mr. Jinnah liked those soxes and asked rates. Coln Ilahi replied “2 rs”, Jinnah replied “Coln this is too costly”, Coln said “Sir these soxes purchased from your accounts”, Jinnah replied “My account is the property of public, leader of small nation should not have luxury life” Jinnah ordered to return those soxes. In zyarat Mr. Jinnah was impressed with the effort of nurse and asked, “Girl! what favor I could do for your?” Nurse replied, “Sir! I am from Punjab, my whole family is settled in Punjab and I am living here alone and doing job. Please could you transfer me to Punjab?”. In sad tone Jinnah replied,
“Sorry! this is job of health department not Governor General.”

Mr. Jinnah ordered to place the writing table in his plane. File was submitted to finance ministry, finance ministry approved the file, but wrote a highlighted note “Governor General is responsible to first take permission from Finance ministry for this kind of orders”. When Mr. Jinnah heard, so he sent sorry letter to Finance ministry and canceled
his order. Who does not know the story of railway crossing? Gul Hassan opened the railway track specially for Mr. Jinnah to cross the road. Mr. Jinnah ordered in anger tone “Who will follow the law, If I break the law?”

This was a Pakistan before 62 years from today. When Mr. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a leader of Pakistan, but after having lot of promotions we have today’s Pakistan, where security official close and stop the traffic before one hour to the arrival of Pakistan’s King. Today’s Pakistan where Government announce 50 million amount in their rallies and speeches without consideration of Finance ministry. Even after the cancellation from Finance ministry our Government purchase the Air Planes. Today’s Pakistan where employees hire, transfer or resign on the order of several irrelevant officials on the basis of personal relations.

Today’s Pakistan where soxes are separate expense, although wedding of official’s daughters arranged in Government offices. Today’s Pakistan where budget of President is 18 billion and 20 billion for Prime minister house. Today’s Pakistan where only relatives of famous politician is leading the nation.

This is today’s Pakistan where complete Government reach to Air port to recieve the Vice president of America. Today’s Pakistan where tea and coffee are small things, full lunch and dinner is offered in assembly meetings. This is Pakistan’s new face where 16 hundred thousand poor peoples are living and dying on daily basis. We are not able to maintain this image of Pakistan, we can not make Pakistan as modern it should be.
